Rauch Serbia relies on wastewater purification and service from EnviroChemie

A Flomar® dissolved air flotation plant designed by EnviroChemie was installed in a new building, together with all dosing and control technology.

At its Serbian site in Koceljeva, 80 kilometres from Belgrade, the global fruit juice producer Rauch has invested in a new wastewater purification plant that reliably complies with authorised limits for indirect discharge. Rauch Serbia produces fruit juices and semi-finished products for local and international customers.

The Flomar® dissolved air flotation plant designed by EnviroChemie was installed in a new building, together with all dosing and control technology. The wastewater created when processing fruit is fed into the flotation system from an aerated mixing and expansion tank. This plant technology reliably lowers the chemical oxygen demand (COD) and biochemical oxygen demand (BOD) of the wastewater to the required discharge values, as well as separating solids. The plant is designed for a capacity of 50 cubic metres per hour.

“Both personally and in the name of Rauch Serbia, I would like to thank the team from EnviroChemie for their hard work and dedication. If I am asked which company realises good wastewater treatment plants, I will be happy to recommend EnviroChemie,” comments Dipl.-Ing. Ljiljana Pavlović, Cold Storage Manager at Rauch Serbia.

The experts from EnviroChemie take care of mechanical and electrical service and subject the plant to its annual process inspection. To ensure that the wastewater purification plant runs perfectly, the fruit juice producer also procures water chemicals from EnviroChemie.

A Flomar® flotation plant sits at the heart of the wastewater treatment solution.
