ReAK reduction of arsenic in copper concentrates

The joint research project ReAK works on environmentally friendly deposits of mining residuals. In Chile, copper ore can contain large amounts of arsenic, which can be safely deposited in stable compounds. In order to stabilize the arsenic, it must be oxidized from arsenic (III) to arsenic (V). EnviroChemie is working on economically and ecologically efficient processes for this oxidation step.
