ReAK reduction of arsenic in copper concentrates

The ReAK joint research project focuses on environmentally friendly deposits of mining residuals. In Chile, copper ore can contain large amounts of arsenic, which can be safely deposited in stable compounds. In order to stabilise the arsenic, it must be oxidized from arsenic (III) to arsenic (V). EnviroChemie is working on cost-effective and environmentally efficient processes for this oxidation step.
