Dairy Innovation Awards finalist

During October’s World Dairy Summit in Chicago, USA, the Dairy Innovation Awards were presented to particularly innovative companies. EnviroChemie was one of the finalists.

Each year, the IDF World Dairy Summit brings together industry leaders, dairy experts, scientists, technical specialists and farmers from all over the world to share their experiences, present innovations and discuss industry trends.

The Dairy Innovation Awards celebrate innovations across the dairy sector and contributions towards attaining the UN Sustainable Development Goals. They were awarded for various categories on 16 October in Chicago. Out of a total of 173 entries, EnviroChemie was nominated as one of three finalists in the “Innovation in Sustainable Processing” category.

The company received the nomination for its holistic water management concept spanning the entire plant operation chain. A reliable supply of water to dairies is essential. In addition, wastewater must be reliably purified to meet the requisite limit values, and water should be used sustainably. The holistic water management approach meets all of these requirements. It includes intelligent process technologies and services to recycle water, minimise the amount of waste materials disposed of, operate in an energy-efficient manner and optimise the operational processes of the plant. To fulfil these complex tasks, EnviroChemie offers bespoke plant management models tailored to dairies’ unique requirements together with its own experienced specialists for day-to-day operations.

The IDF Dairy Innovation Awards are hosted by the International Dairy Federation in partnership with the world-leading food and drinks consultancy Zenith Global, with headline sponsorship from Tetra Pak – a global leader in food processing and packaging solutions.
