EnviroChemie GmbH is part of the “B-WaterSmart: Accelerating Water Smartness in Coastal Europe” group project and has assumed responsibility for the construction, operation and optimisation of a pilot plant which treats vapour to achieve a water quality corresponding to that required for drinking water.
Over the course of three years at a dairy site in north Germany, various treatment technologies will be analysed, such as membrane technologies and different biological processes for water and wastewater.
The project is part of HORIZON 2020, the largest research and innovation program ever launched by the EU.
