EnviroChemie Expands Its Management Board with Internal Appointments

Dr Robert Lutze and Ulrich Böhm Join Dr Jörg Krause and Stefan Letschert

Roßdorf, 1 June 2026 – EnviroChemie GmbH has expanded its Management Board with the appointment of Dr Robert Lutze and Ulrich Böhm as Managing Directors, effective 1 June 2026. Together with Dr Jörg Krause, Spokesman of the Management Board, and Stefan Letschert, CFO, they will drive the strategic and operational development of the water and wastewater specialist.

As Managing Director, Dr Robert Lutze will be responsible for the Plant Engineering division, encompassing Sales & Process Design as well as Project Execution. Ulrich Böhm will assume responsibility for the Services division, including the Product & Service Solutions business areas.

Extensive Experience and Technical Expertise

Dr Robert Lutze (44) has been closely associated with EnviroChemie’s development for many years. Following his studies in Environmental Engineering at the Technical University of Berlin and the University of Calgary, he joined EnviroChemie in 2008 as a Project Engineer in the Research & Development department. After completing his doctorate at TU Darmstadt, he returned to the company in 2019, initially taking on responsibilities in Process Engineering before assuming leadership of the department in 2021. Since January 2024, he has jointly led the Sales & Process Design division together with Dennis Wiedenhaus, playing a key role in its successful development.

Successful Expansion of the Services Business

Ulrich Böhm (44) also brings many years of leadership experience within EnviroChemie. Following his studies at Albert Ludwig University of Freiburg and Durham Business School, he gained experience with a major energy supplier, focusing on the acquisition and management of complex service projects. He joined EnviroChemie in 2015 as Project Manager for Plant Operations & Contracting. In 2020, he was appointed Head of Department, followed by his promotion to Division Manager in 2022. Most recently, together with Sevki Baskalfa, he successfully expanded the company’s services business within the Product & Service Solutions division.

Thanks to Peter Leyendecker

As part of the reorganisation, Peter Leyendecker will step down from the Management Board of EnviroChemie GmbH effective 1 June 2026. Going forward, he will focus on the further development of the process water treatment business segment in his roles as Managing Director of EnviroFALK Prozesswasser-Technik GmbH and EnviroFALK Wassertechnologie GmbH, as well as Chairman of the Shareholders’ Committee of EnviroFALK PharmaWaterSystems.
