The existing wastewater treatment plant no longer reflected the state of the art and was unable to reliably meet the increased demands for treatment performance and operational safety. In particular, fluctuating wastewater qualities and high chemical loads required a solution that was both flexible and robust. The goal was to ensure long-term compliance with discharge limits into the sewer system.

Task

Solution

An Envochem® DOX batch system is used—a high-performance treatment concept for heavily polluted industrial wastewater with low to medium solids content. The adjustable precipitation and detoxification process allows flexible adaptation to varying wastewater compositions. The system is complemented by efficient sludge dewatering using a chamber filter press and reliable final filtration via a multi-layer filter.
