Wastewater Treatment with individually planned Flotation Plants

Flomar® DAF and E-Flo Dr. Baer electroflotations plants - individually planned high-performance plants

For every task we offer an optimal plant solution: dissolved air flotation plants Flomar® and electroflotation plants E-Flo-Dr. Baer. EnviroChemie's high-performance technologies for industrial applications

Flomar® DAF

EnviroChemie is unveiling the new Flomar series of high-performance flotation plants at the IFAT show. The Flomar HL series features a special EC high-performance separation package specifically for the food and meat industry, while the Flomar HF series is designed for general industrial applications and has a highly effective air saturation system with self-cleaning relief valves.

Electroflotation E-Flo-Dr. Baer

This specialised electroflotation product complements the well-established Flomar® series of dissolved air flotations. Unlike Flomar®, it can be used freely for water temperatures in excess of 80° C, and barely creates any foam even when tensides are present. The precise separation of the flotate ensures a high degree of cleansing, eliminating the need for further filter stages. This makes E-Flo-Dr Baer electro-flotation especially suitable for the cleaning and treatment of water circulation systems.

Typical Implementation Areas

• Steel processing industry (e.g. cold rolling mills, pressing and drawing plants, wire-drawing mills)

• Non-ferrous-metal processing industry (e.g. copper, aluminium)

• Automobile industry and its suppliers

• Cosmetics industry (e.g. body care products, hair cosmetics)

• Oil and fat processing industry

• Petrochemical industry

• Chemical and pharmaceutical industry

• Fibreglass production (simple)

Electroflotation, E-Flo-Dr. Baer
E-Flo-Dr Baer. electroflotation is using electrodes which are stable under electrolysis and which have reversible polarity.

Flomar® HL

High-performance flotation for high hydraulic throughputs

The Flomar HL process is particularly suitable for treating medium to highly contaminated industrial wastewaters and rinsing waters, while offering high availability and maximum ease of operation.

Features

  • Very compact and space-saving structure that maintains outstanding cleaning efficiency
  • Maximum cleaning performance due to use of plate packages
  • Highly effective, non-blocking dissolved air system
  • Maximum cleaning efficiency due to variably adjustable precipitation and flocculation process
  • Energy-optimised saturation system for maximum cost-effectiveness
  • Low chemical consumption due to optimised Flomar flocculation process
  • Maximum treatment reliability due to tailor-made Envifloc® treatment chemicals
  • Easy to use due to EnviroChemie Asic touch panel visualisation and PLC
  • Remote maintenance and teleservice available
  • “Made in Germany/Swiss Made” components

The Flomar® HL-process

Flomar HL is a continuously operating wastewater treatment process with integrated plate packages for flotation treatment of industrial wastewaters with a connected precipitation / flocculation process.

Envifloc® treatment chemicals are metered in the tube flocculator specially designed by EnviroChemie for optimum set-up of the wastewater treatment process, which minimises the consumption of chemicals.

The cluster of contaminants produced by precipitation / flocculation is directly separated from the liquid phase by means of the high-performance Flomar HL dissolved air flotation system. Further dewatering to minimise disposal volumes may occur in a subsequent sludge treatment plant. Wastewaters treated in this way can then be discharged indirectly or transferred to a further treatment stage.

Mature and specially designed Floma® software controls the plant via an ASIC® controller based on a freely programmable system (PLC). The control and plant concept includes various options which allow the basic design to be adapted to the specific conditions of the customer.

A user-friendly ASIC® touch panel makes it easy to operate, control and monitor the entire plant. The plant can be monitored from an off-site location via a telephone connection (teleservice) as an option.

FLOMAR® HF

High-performance flotation plant for highly contaminated wastewater

The Flomar® HF process is particularly suitable for treating very highly contaminated industrial wastewaters and as an advanced treatment stage based at biological stages, while offering high availability and maximum ease of operation.

Features

  • Compact and less-food print that maintains highly effective cleaning efficiency
  • Large, free surface area enables high concentrations of solids to be processed in flow
  • Highly effective, non-blocking dissolved air system
  • Maximum cleaning efficiency due to variably adjustable precipitation and flocculation process
  • Energy-optimised saturation system for maximum cost-effectiveness
  • Low chemical consumption due to optimised Flomar precipitation process
  • Maximum treatment reliability due to tailor-made Envifloc® treatment chemicals
  • Easy to use due to EnviroChemie Asic® touch panel visualisation and PLC
  • Remote maintenance and teleservice available
  • “Made in Germany/Swiss Made” components

Electroflotation E-Flo-Dr. Baer

The E-Flo-Dr Baer-process is a continuous high-performance process to separate fats and hazardous substances from industrial wastewater, with a pre-treatment processing stage for demulsifying, precipitation, neutralisation and flocculation. Envifloc treatment chemicals help the process to run to optimum effect.

Envifloc treatment chemi-cals help the process to run to optimum effect

Features

The E-Flo-Dr Baer process is particularly well-suited to the treatment of:

• Wastewater containing oil and grease and emulsions

• Warm and hot wastewater (up to 80 °C)

• Wastewater containing tensides – almost no foam is created

• Wastewater with high salt content

The throughput of E-Flo-Dr Baer electroflotation systems is standardised to achieve volumes of up to 200 m³/h.
