Treatment of fresh and waste water from pickled gherkins production
Description of the plant
The waste water coming from the production reaches the aerated mixing and equalization tank via a floating chute and a screening plant. The mixing and equalization tank which is designed as a lock seam tank can later become reequipped to a controlled aerobic biological treatment, if needed. The waste water discharge takes place with flow control. The pH-value required is adjusted by a continuously working neutralization plant. The exhaust air from the mixing and equalization tank is cleaned by a biological filter.
