Envochem® Treatment plant for waste water from soldering and degreasing

WIKA  Alexander Wigand GmbH & Co. KG Klingenberg, Germany

WIKA  Alexander Wigand GmbH & Co. KG is a manufacturer of high grade measurement equipment for temperature and pressure. In the WIKA headquarters in Klingenberg, Germany EnviroChemie installed a WWTP for the waste water from:
  •  degreasing baths (acetic app. 2%,  alkaline app. 3% of total WW)
  • soldering waters (app. 90% of total WW)
  • the high heavy metal polluted waste waters from thin-film cauterisation (app.  5% of total WW).
The different waste waters are collected separately and pumped in defined volumes to the two Envochem® reactors. Here pH is adjusted and different precipitation agents are added. The precipitated sludge is dewatered  by the use of a filter press and is disposed. After passing the  final filter the clear liquid phase is transferred to the municipal waste water plant.
