Envopur® MFI standard microfiltration

Capacity approx. 100 l/h to 100 m³/h
Treatment goal standardized membrane plant to increase usability period/recycle degreasing baths
Membrane organic, inorganic
Plant type pipe module, spiral wound module
Applications
  • retention of the high quality of the purification abilities of the baths
  • increase in the usability period of the baths with fewer chemical additives
  • reduction in water consumption
  • reduction in the use of chemicals
  • less energy used for heating
  • less contaminated waste
  • less contamination of following baths

Concept of the plant

Envopur® microfiltration plants are used in the bypass back to the bath.  An integrated feed pump fills the feed tank of the plant.  As soon as the tank's capacity is reached, the circulation pump pushes the degreasing solution through the membrane module.
The cross-flow velocity and the pressure causes some of the solution to permeate the membrane (permeate) and be purified.  The rest of the solution (retentate) still contains the oils, fats and contaminants and flows back into the feed tank, where these substances become concentrated.
During the filtration, a backflush impulse can be given to the membrane elements at regular intervals (back flushing).  This keeps the filtration working at its highest efficiency and effectiveness.

The plants are fully automated by an integrated PLC and can also be set to be run manually.

Die Envopur® MFI  plants are equipped with highly effective ceramic membranes which distinguish themselves from the usual materials by the following characteristics:
  • high thermal stability (steam sterilizable)
  • good mechanical resistance
  • good chemical resistance (pH 1-14)
  • easy to clean
  • effective use of filtrate
  • long life span
  • compact modular forms
