Key process components such as pumps, valves, fittings, measurement and control equipment are supplied by leading German and Swiss providers. Working out the fundamental principles
The precise definition of existing principles provides the crucial basis for developing and designing optimised processes. Experts from our company analyse the operational situation on site and take samples for analysis in certified laboratories. We use automatic sampling equipment and experienced chemists and biologists.

Laboratory investigations
The EnviroChemie Group has two test laboratories where water and wastewater samples can be tested for treatment feasibility. Specially developed laboratory equipment is used to perform biological aerobic and anaerobic processes, chemo-physical flocculation and precipitation tests, as well as tests on membrane technology.

Pilot tests on site
EnviroChemie has more than 20 state-of-the-art pilot facilities based on biological, chemo-physical and membrane principles. Due to their modular structure the pilot systems can be combined. As a rule they output between 100 and 1000 litres per hour depending on the composition of the wastewater. These pilot systems allow reliable plant solutions to be designed to handle even heavy wastewater.

Planning
The determined characteristics, results of laboratory and pilot tests, structural requirements and the customer’s budget are taken into consideration in basic planning. Once the basic planning is concluded, the procedural process is defined and the main procedural components are fixed. The necessary construction measures are established. Both plant production and operating costs are largely determined. At this point, EnviroChemie prepares a detailed quotation for supplying the equipment and detail engineering. In order to offer customers outstanding solutions at all times, EnviroChemie focuses on planning processes it has developed in-house.

Plant commissioning / optimisation
Process water and wastewater treatment plants are often launched at the same time as commissioning new production. During this time they need to be adapted effectively to the specific water and wastewater quality. Here optimum operating data and costs must be considered. Process engineers from the fields of chemistry, biology, mechanical and electrical engineering with many years of experience are key to effective start-ups.

Process optimisation
During the typically long service life of a water and wastewater plant, changes are frequently made in the composition of media and purity quality requirements. Cost savings of up to 50% can be achieved by rechecking all principles, optimising some process steps, using optimum process chemicals and through staff training.

Plant production
Due to international customers’ demanding requirements, EnviroChemie manufactures key components at its own facilities. This enables plant components and modules to be preassembled so that they can be put together quickly on building sites with no loss of quality. Our manufacturing facilities are also used as a training centre for special fitters.
