Envopur® Biomass separation and Production water recovery
In Henkel, Hungary, the biological wastewater treatment stage for the separation of the biomass the ultra filtration Envopur® UFI is operated as a membrane bioreactor (MBR) in the Cross-Flow procedure.
For the process water recovery, the UF permeate is mixed with the reverse osmosis concentrate of the fresh water plant. The combined wastewater is processed to a high quality process water by means of the permeate step reverse osmosis Envopur® NUO. The special low-fouling high capacity membranes hold back the low-molecular substances and dissolved salts in the preparation process with a very high efficiency. The permeate can be used without further processing in the production.
